For the most guaranteed flat and calm waters consider booking in the early morning; reservations accepted from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Squamish is known to be windy and paddling in the Sound from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. is not always possible but the Blind channel offers a slightly sheltered area to paddle amongst the surrounding mountains. Upgraded inflatable standup paddleboards allow for easy transport to a nearby lake or further point of the Howe Sound such as Brittania Beach or Porteau Cove. Squamish Watersports offers foam roof racks and straps to transport larger vessels on top of your car to other waterways nearby.

Must be 12-70 years old and weigh between 50-270 pounds. Weight limit for a sit-on kayak is 200 pounds; an upgrade to the sit-in kayak is recommended for weight between 201-270 pounds.
