Lovely location and quite beautiful at night. Room was a little dated but overall it was very comfortable. Because of COVID Protocols we were unable to enjoy the resort amenities but it looked nice.

Lovely property on the water, exceptionally clean.

The reservation agent (non-hotel person) was not familiar with the property so put us in the sister hotel by mistake. The Manteo staff sorted it all out ahead of arrival.

Everything could not have been nicer! The 2 bedroom suite was amazing with lots of room, good beds and all that we needed. The front office staff were so friendly and made us feel so very welcome. The staff at SmackDab and Lakeside were so helpful and all the food were scrumptious. Wow! What a place and what an experience. It was fabulous!!!!

Special mention to Vary at Reception who was so lovely and knowlegable. She gave us great directions to the pools and the rooftop deck, upgraded our suite and gave us our $100. credit to be used at the resort. To Emma, server at SmackDab who was so much fun and gave us tips on wineries and to Vincent, server at Lakeside Restaurant who was full of energy and treated us to a tasty complimentary dessert.
