The property was quiet as it was off season and there were not a lot of guests. The room was excellent, comfortable, clean and spacious as well as having a view of the lake. The staff and the restaurant were great. I would definitely consider Eldorado in the future.

Had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Eldorado. Quick and friendly customer service from the Manteo staff, where we checked in and all phones calls were directed to. Location was perfect, right on the waterfront. Food at both the El Dorado and Manteo were delicious. Their house white wine was so good (made by Mission Hill). What I wasn't too happy about was the size of the Heritage Room. For a sale price of $299 from Travelzoo, it was more bearable, as this deal included $50 gc to use at the resort and a bottle of wine, but to pay for price for a room that's about 150 square feet...eeekk!! We also booked this deal because our daughter is getting married there next year and we wanted to check out the resort, it's rooftop patio for their wedding ceremony and the Great Room for the reception, which were both beautiful. I'm glad we did so we won't be booking the Heritage room.
