About the Destination
Located between the Arabian and Laccadive Seas, the remote island nation of the Maldives is considered to have some of the best beaches in the world, with pristine white sand, clear turquoise water and world-class diving.
International flights to the Maldives and domestic transfers are not included in this offer. To reach the resort, guests will fly to Malé International Airport (MLE). From there, it's roughly a 45-minute seaplane ride to the hotel (guests can arrange transfers via seaplane with the hotel reservations staff directly).

The island is of nice size, you could walk around it in 2 hours. But in addition hotel is offering buggy service every 10min to take guests around the island. Staff is very friendly and work hard to make your stay great. The hotel just celebrated 8 years from opening and you can see that the time has taken its toll and its time to refresh some facilities and rooms themselves as well. Few things that stand out is decking need a refreshing of paint as it looks tired and cracked (this applied to main pool and also water villas). In our water villa parts of flooring in the room was heavily worn out, stairs to the sea were all rotten and very slippery, probably better to use metal then wood. Food in restaurant was of a good variety we always managed to find something to eat. The best part of staing in Furaveri was the access to nature, when you can see huge variety of sealife just in a reach of a hand.

The All -Inclusive portion was originally not honored and they down-graded us to All-Inclusive Light for about 3 days. Finally it was corrected, but only because I brought all paperwork.

The restaurant staff and the room cleaning stafd are very hard working. Decent snorkeling off of our over-the-water bungalow.

We were assigned a concierge, Jai, at check in and told anything we needed would be taken care by him. Our room was ready but it took 2 hours for the luggage to be delivered. We asked for more hangers since everything is humid and needed to be hung to dry. Our safe didn’t work. It took 14 hours before these two simple things were resolved. Main restaurant food barely edible. They nickel and dime you to death for the all inclusive lite option
