It’s a beautiful location and the staff/people are wonderful. The amenities of the surrounding shops, restaurants, and other resorts makes for a lot of choices compared to some of the other isolated resorts in the Maldives. It’s also an easy travel from Male. We were disappointed in the food quality at SAii. We tried a few different options and then just quit eating there and instead went elsewhere. The food at a Mercure resort we stayed at prior to this stay was so much better!! Also we enjoyed the free bikes that SAii had for guests to use, that was a nice touch. However the bikes from the Hard Rock resort were much nicer and better maintained than the SAii bikes. These were pretty beat up and rusty. We even had a few that had no brakes what so ever! I loved their soap mixing station and the bathrobe in our room I regret not purchasing. I want one! Also, for those heavy drinkers heading to the Maldives, get an all inclusive package because drinks and beers are expensive!

Absolutely amazing experience. The resort and surrounding area are breathtaking. The people and staff were some of the best people ever. Only down side is the cost of food. Expect to pay $100-150USD per day just for suppers. We didn't go to the seafood or Steak house as the dinners would have been in excess of $200USD. 1 example Hardrock Cafe- 2 beer, 1 plate of Nachos for appy, 2 burgers w/fries, $176.00 CAD. Full board was offered at the resort (2 restaurants only) for $180USD PP/day. Drinks $10-15 USD per. But don't let this over shadow the resort. I would go back in a heartbeat

I read from some forum that people complaint about this place I don't understand at all. All the staff are super super friendly and eager to assist you all the time .

The only issue we have is the Olive oyl restaurant always offer buffet style for dinners and lunch most of the time. We’re not a fan of buffet and we almost ate everything in the menu at the pool bar. I think they should offer Ala cart menu even if they have buffet
