Surrounded by the historic sites of Williamsburg, Virginia, the Historic Powhatan Resort offers the comforts of home on 256 lush acres, including the Manor House, which was originally built in 1735. The resort is the perfect home base to explore this colonial town featuring 18th-century English architecture.

Immerse yourself in the culture of the Revolutionary City and explore the government buildings, houses and gardens. While walking through the city, keep your eyes peeled for flags outside of the buildings to see what is open. When you aren’t busy touring the area, splash around in the indoor and outdoor swimming pools or take the kids to the playground. Guests can also find tennis courts and mini golf on site. The Historic Powhatan Bar & Grille is open daily for breakfast and dinner. Spread out in 750-1280 square feet of space in guest rooms featuring full kitchens.

The Historic Powhatan is a timeshare resort. Guests may be asked, though not required, to attend a timeshare presentation.

Very comfortable and 15 minutes from historic sites. The restaurant food onsite was delicious!

Don't like the high pressure sales and the neighbors above us were so noisy that they kept us awake at night. You could hear everything that went on above us. Walls and floors were thin.

Everything went just as we planned it and had no issues or problems.

We ate at their restaurant for the first time and found it to be very good. It was nice to have the $25. dining credit on our account already.

The grounds are beautiful and the location is good.

When the power went out for 18 hours due to Hurricane Michael, no attempt was made to check on people or provide any information about where we could buy food since the restaurants were closed. It wouldn't have taken long to put together an information sheet since we were visiting from another state.

The pressure they put on you to go to the orientation about the resort, I think that 2 hours is to much time to spend listening to a high pressure sales pitch is to much, also with the hurricane coming we asked to change our reservation to the next week and they would not do it which caused us to leave after one day Most amenities (pool, store etc) closed.

Mixology lesson! Marcus and Jessica were great!

I book through Travelzoo or similar site as I am not interested in timeshare ownership. I don't like being asked multiple times if I want to take advantage of their "great $149 deal"

The only complaint is that noise from upstairs level was a little annoying.

The lovely grounds. So peaceful!

McKinley did not give us our $25 voucher for food when we checked in and we did not know to ask. At breakfast we had to pay for our meal since we did not have the voucher. All of the other staff members were great though! And the omelets were delicious!

Resort is beautiful. Plenty of walking trails and things to do. The one-bedroom unit was very nice.

There was a food credit that came with the Travelzoo reservation, but the staff did not know how to credit it. I am still waiting for the credit.
