Rooms, location, food, non-reception staff were nice and quite efficient. The Travelzoo package that we got was a good deal overall, experience would have been much better if not for the check in and room fiasco.

Check in was a mess. I found out when we got there that they only had us booked for a night instead of the 2 x 2nights that I had booked via Travelzoo, and they assigned the wrong room type (Family) from the one we chose in our package (Executive Suite). They said their computer crashed which explains the discrepancy but that they couldn't make the adjustment at the time of check in since they had no more suites available that night. They said a suite will free up the next day though and asked us to pack our bags before we left for the day so they can move our stuff for us (which was nice) but then when we got to the hotel that night we found out they still hadn't assigned us the proper room which meant more waiting for us on the second night, and we ended up having to move our luggage ourselves. This last part wasn't really that big of deal, it just sucked that they promised to do it and then didn't. We got to our suite and had to request beddings for the pull out sofa since they weren't there to begin with. Just so many unnecessary inconveniences with this hotel.

Great rooms, lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, super breakfast, lovely staff
Other Comments
On our visit the main restaurant was closed to facilitate a group so we ate in the smaller area - bad planning by management as not enough staff put on resulting in an hours wait for food.

The sky package in your room is a nice touch with a brilliant room service menu at a very reasonable price.
