The staff at Hotel Annapolis was fantastic, however, our booking experience with Travelzoo was not. We met another couple at the hotel, and their reservation through Travelzoo was made incorrectly. When we checked in, I gave my name, nothing listed by name. I gave my confirmation number, and it appeared they did not have it. The manager, Tim, asked the price we were given through Travelzoo, and checked us in. I will absolutely go back to Hotel Annapolis, and highly recommend it. The staff at the hotel was fantastic, and the manager, Tim, could not have been more accommodating. I am very leery of booking with Travelzoo again.

I had to call Travelzoo because upon my arrival, the hotel put us in a 2 double bed room despite my reservation being made 3 months prior for a King room. A Travelzoo customer service rep called them and explained that we were in fact guaranteed a king at the time of booking but the hotel said that at the time of booking they didn't even have kings - not sure why my reservation went through. Unfortunately, they hotel had no kings available to us and my husband and I had to spend our couples getaway in separate beds haha! The phone did not work in the room, and my bath towel had a black hair on it when I went to use it. The room was also over their hotel restaurant bar, so got woken up at 1AM with the music. Very disappointing! Next time I will stay at an air bnb instead.

Great Happy Hour. Love the newspapers (in lobby) in the morning. Parking attendants friendly and efficient. Housekeepers always pleasant. Great staff!

The hotel was wonderful. However experience with Travel Zoo was not. Our hotel booking on January 23 was for March 12. On February 12 our credit card was charged. Despite calls to both the hotel and Travel Zoo we were assured our reservation was on track. We received several confirmation emails from Travel Zoo prior to our arrival stating the hotel was expecting us. When we arrived on March 12, the hotel had no reservation in our name, nor in the confirmation number we were given. However they confirmed the charge to our credit card was for a “no show” on February 12. The hotel rebooked us at the Travel Zoo rate and could not have been more accommodating. We would be more than willing to stay at this hotel again and recommend to friends. But it would be more than worth the extra cost to book directly through the hotel and not Travel Zoo. It could have been a nightmare experience had this been a booking out of country or at a less accommodating facility.

Very nice hotel. Extremely comfortable mattress and pillows. Nice room, though a little dark because the rooms overlook an atrium. Could not have used bathtub. No stopper!
