Why We Love This Deal

For those seeking adventure this winter season, plan a getaway to Whistler. It boasts over 3,200 hectares of skiable terrain. After a day on the slopes, enjoy a stroll through the pedestrian village and make a stop at one of the many shops or restaurants.

During peak winter season, hotel prices can soar to well over $700 per night, but as a Travelzoo member, you'll get nearly 40% off stays through ski season. Settle in to suite-style rooms that place you in the middle of Village North. Plus, our deal includes parking, something that's notoriously expensive and hard to find in Whistler.

The bed and the pillows and of course the spectacular view.

Upon arriving the fireplace wouldn’t light. Then my wife’s duvet cover had what appeared to be blood on it and so did the replacement duvet. The toaster smoked with nothing in it and the electrical outlets were lacking and inconveniently placed especially in the bathroom and bedside. Total renovation and update required.

Whistler is a beautiful place to get away to. We have stayed in the middle of the village before, but found it too noisy. The Pinnacle is just off the main village and is nice and quiet. We have stayed there many times and will definitely return.

A very small suggestion, but a soap dish in the bathroom would be nice.

We booked two separate rooms (same day) with Travelzoo for 4 people. One room was nice with extra space & a couch. The other was a small one no couch & right beside the elevator. Asked for a change to another but one given was larger but had a musty smell. This is an older hotel that needs updating. We made do as kitchen was well appointed & room was clean. This was not as good experience as with the Summit Boutique Hotel in Whistler we booked with Travelzoo twice.

Outdoor pool was heated & nice to swim. Could not find pool towels we were told should be at the pool. Oh well we had robes from our room!!

Unfortunately the air conditioner did not work so for two nights we were extremely uncomfortable. It is a very old hotel and needs work. The weather was 30 degrees and it was so hard to sleep. The balcony was also missing a screen door so we couldn’t keep the door open because of the bugs and bees. Two bees made it into our room and thankfully we caught both. When we tried to turn on the air conditioner the smell it emitted was horrible. I don’t think filters were changed for years. When we called the front desk we were told they had no other rooms to move us as they were sold out. Upon check out they charged us for parking, an additional $50. I explained that our Travelzoo stated parking was included. The manager questioned if we had two vehicles. I said no, he said he’d take the $50 parking fee off but would do nothing in terms of compensation for the poor room because we booked with a third party, Travelzoo. Just now, I noticed a credit card transaction go through and it does in fact include the additional $50. Now I’ll have to get in touch with the hotel again and hope to get a credit, I should be enjoying my vacation. This is so frustrating they were so difficult to deal with. I would like Travelzoo to follow up as well. My husband and I feel that Travelzoo marketed a very false version of this hotel.

There was a mess with our booking which could have been avoided also would’ve been nice to let guests know about the amenities such as complimentary bikes which we found out late into our stay .
