The hotel, a former shooting lodge for Brandon Manor House, is tucked away on the edge of a small Warwickshire village, eight miles from Coventry.
The earthworks and remains of Brandon Castle are approximately 10 minutes' walk away. Brandon Marsh, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and nature reserve, and Coombe Country Park are ideal for nature and wildlife lovers. Both are within 10 minutes’ drive from the hotel.
Coventry, famous for the bombed remains of its medieval cathedral and the new cathedral built next to it, is approximately 20 minutes' drive away and Royal Leamington Spa, known for its Regency architecture and 19th-century Royal Pump Rooms, is roughly 30 minutes' drive from the hotel.
The Clarendon restaurant serves international cuisine and has an "excellent menu", according to The Daily Telegraph. You can enjoy an aperitif in the Bewick Bar, which has a patio area leading out to the gardens.
Other facilities include an indoor heated pool, a sauna and a gym. There is also a beauty salon at which massages are available (at a supplement). Wi-Fi is free. Well-behaved pets are an extra £25 per pet, per night.
