Hotel Art by the Spanish Steps
Why We Love This Hotel
- "One of Rome's premier art and boutique hotels", says The Telegraph
- Located on the famous Via Margutta where scenes of Roman Holiday were shot
- Sights such as the Trevi Fountain or Piazza Navona are within 15 minutes' walk
Built on an ancient chapel, the Art is located on one of Rome’s most famous bohemian streets where Fellini lived in the 1950s. The stylish property is incredibly central -- in only five minutes you’ll find yourself at the Spanish Steps (don't miss the Keats-Shelley House), and the designer shops on the Via Condotti.
The Trevi Fountain is a 10-minute walk south, and it's just five minutes farther to the enormous Jesuit church of Sant' Ignazio. The Borghese Gardens -- "Rome's most celebrated park" (Lonely Planet) -- is a block away and is popular with joggers. For city-wide sightseeing, you'll find the Spagna metro station five minutes' walk around the corner.
Each of the 46 guestrooms is comfortable and clean and comes complete with the latest amenities and attractive furnishings. The hotel also houses a breakfast room where guests can enjoy a full buffet breakfast, and the hotel's Crystal Bar provides an excellent setting for an afternoon coffee or late night cocktail.
