Breakfast is served in Hunter's Restaurant; think waffles, poached or scrambled eggs and yogurt parfait.
The location is great —it's slightly tucked away from the busy harbour, yet only a five-minute walk from Victoria's main hub. The Victoria Clipper, which journeys between Seattle and Vancouver, docks opposite the hotel.
Victoria, B.C.'s capital, is home to 125-year-old heritage buildings, art galleries, museums, boutique shops, public parks and a vibrant dining scene, making this an ideal destination for a short getaway.

Hotel roof was getting redone. Earplugs on the bedside table are appreciated but should have been told at time of booking. Paper thin walls, could hear people above & every time neighbours used their toilet or shower it woke me up it was so loud. Food was fantastic, service was fantastic, but Hotel could use some improvements.

very good location by the inner harbour, staff was excellent. the hotel did not seem to be very busy which during the current travel conditions made the hotel quiet and relaxing. breakfast at the pendray manor next door was average but the setting is terrific, overpriced for food service and expect to pay predetermined service charges, of about 15 percent

We had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. Very friendly front desk agent Louise was great at taking our reservation, & gave us a very nice balcony room with partial harbour view. The location is about as good you can get in Victoria's Inner Harbour, with a really nice waterfront walkway all the way to Fisherman's Wharf and the colourful float home community. The breakfast was really good, as were the welcome cookies awaiting us in the room!
Other Comments
Only very minor disappointment: Only one very small sliver of soap in the bathroom, & we aren't into using the supplied body soap dispenser. Louise fixed this situation very quickly, but their house staff needs to know that nickel & diming on soap runs against all the other excellent things about this hotel stay.

We had a nice time. The staff are friendly and service oriented. The room was very different to any other hotel room I have seen, felt like a one bedroom suite in someone’s Victorian home. And, like a Victorian home, there was some noise transfer from the room above. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it was there. Also, the breakfast was pretty tasteless. But, the tea room is nice. We still enjoyed the stay and the location is great.

We were only staying in Victoria for one night before travelling up island. We found the room to have a musty smell. We didn’t bring it up to the desk since we were only there for one night. The location is perfect if you want to be close to the Inner Harbour and downtown/James Bay. Hotel is older and our view was onto a roof near the courtyard that hadn’t been kept up.
