Offering trendy “no-frills” accommodation in a “terrific location” (The Daily Telegraph), Ryans La Marina is set right on the waterfront, overlooking the marina in vibrant Ibiza Town. This “handy, fun” (The Daily Telegraph) hotel occupies a trio of adjacent buildings dating from the 1860s, and is located a short stroll from both the quaint Old Town, with its cobbled streets lined with bars and restaurants, and the ferry terminal, which links to Formentera and Valencia. The Museum of Contemporary Art is around a 10-minute walk away and renowned Pacha nightclub is 20 minutes’ walk from the hotel. Playa d’en Bossa beach takes about 15 minutes’ to reach by car.
Ryans La Marina’s 19th-century façade opens to cool contemporary interiors where a “white and grey colour scheme is brightened up with splashes of yellow” (The Daily Telegraph). Guests can enjoy tapas and cocktails in the trendy café bar, which offers big-screen sports and regular live music, and extends to a terrace area. The “great staff” are on hand to help with ferry bookings and club tickets.
The rooms are decorated in a simple style with colourful accents and bold murals. All include free Wi-Fi, TVs and air-conditioning. Higher tariff rooms add mini fridges and sea views, whilst penthouse quarters feature furnished terraces overlooking the water and the Old Town.
