Arabella Alpenhotel am Spitzingsee is in the middle of the Upper Bavarian mountains, directly on the shores of the picturesque Lake Spitzingsee.
At an altitude of 1100 metres, you can enjoy the silence and panoramic views of the magnificent mountain landscape. Walking, cycling or simply resting are the most popular activities here. This is also a great base for skiers, as the hotel is located in the Tegernsee-Spitzingsee ski area. The ski bus stops directly at the hotel.
Arabella Alpenhotel am Spitzingsee is designed in a classic Alpine style, with a balcony-decorated front. You'll check in at the wood-panelled reception and the lobby is decorated in a modern alpine style: lots of wood, comfortable upholstery and warm colours.
The bedrooms have large windows, wooden floorboards or Bavarian-blue carpeting and a comfy bed made of regional wood. The bathrooms are modern, with white tiles.
Enjoy views of the lake and mountains from the spa area which has an indoor swimming pool, a whirlpool, a sauna and a steam room. The trained staff offer massages and beauty treatments (for an additional fee).
We recommend a visit to the hotel restaurant König-Ludwig-Stube, which serves regional cuisine in a rustic atmosphere. On the menu you will find deer, chamois (a type of goat-antelope) and vegetarian specialties. The second restaurant in the Alpenhotel is the Osteria L'Oliva, where Italian specialties are served. The bar is stocked with over 40 types of whiskey.
