Selected by Frommer's as one of the most romantic mountain getaways in North America, Pennsylvania's Poconos have drawn honeymooners and other romance-seekers since the 1940s. Cove Haven Resort maintains that romance, offering rooms tailored for a couples-only romantic experience.
The oversized luxury suites at Cove Haven include amenities such as private indoor heated pools and wood-burning fireplaces, signature heart-shaped whirlpools and the world-famous seven-foot champagne glass whirlpool bath. Guests also receive access to two sister resorts, Pocono Palace Resort and Paradise Stream Resort.
Harbour Tower Suites feature scenic views from private, furnished balconies, a shower for two and a round king-size bed. Garden of Eden Suites are designed without windows for privacy and feature a private indoor heated pool, a dry sauna and a log-burning fireplace. Juliette Suites are split-level suites with a fireplace, conveniently located near the restaurant and outdoor pool area. All feature a heart-shaped whirlpool bath for two.
If tempted to leave the premises, off-site activities include winery tours, white-water rafting and hiking.
