In the Jacques-Cartier Valley area, Manoir du Lac Delage sits within the mountainous plateau on the edge of a provincial park. Though situated on a quiet lake in rural Quebec, the hotel is only a 30-minute drive to historic Old Quebec City with its quaint cobblestone streets lined with boutiques and restaurants. In the winter guests can take advantage of skiing at Stoneham Mountain Resort, a five-minute drive from the hotel.

On-site, guests will appreciate the more remote location and the scenery Lac Delage has to offer. The Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier is host to one of the most beautiful glacial valleys in Quebec and is a 15-minute drive from the hotel; the property itself boasts expansive lake views.

Recently renovated, rooms are quaintly decorated in plaid and floral fabrics, giving the décor a classic-country style. Dormer rooms have skylights while expansive suites have cozy seating areas; some with kitchenettes and Jacuzzi tubs. Guests can really spread out in the two-storey VIP Suite with fireplace, panoramic terrace and separate master bedroom. All rooms have free Wi-Fi; however, there is no elevator so contact the hotel if you prefer ground floor accommodations.

Guests have access to the outdoor spas and sauna for an extra $15 per person. They have an extensive list of services, from traditional massages and facials to body wraps and chromatherapy baths. Also on-site, Gourmet Champêtre restaurant serves breakfast, brunch and dinner daily with menu items such as pancakes with maple butter, duck confit and, of course, poutine.

Went for a honeymoon weekend . Disappointed by the unfriendliness and unhelpfilness of the staff. Many of the staff unable to understand English, so weather they were rude or just unable to understand us, it's hard to say. The main reason we booked here was to enjoy the spa and relaxation pools and restaurant that they raves about online . Unfortunatley all of that backfired. Outdoor sauna was broken, they didn't enforce the "no kids" in the relaxation area. We were also suppose to get a pass for boats and kayaks with our booking but the hotel didn't even have any of these items available, or if they did we could not find them. No one at the front desk was willing to go out of their way to explain the resort, or where to find these things . The condition of the resort itself is in rough shape . Especially the tennis courts. This place operates as if it is just a hotel and wedding venue. They could care less about the additional resort amenities on the property. Honestly they just get rid of all of the additional activities that they claim to have and don't maintain and just call themselves a hotel. Rooms were nice and clean however the beds were incredibly uncomfortable, mattresses sagging in the middle and springs digging into your back . Similar to sleeping on a pull out couch. Pillows were flat and lumpy . Had to pile at least three together to get decent support. They also allow smoking on balconies. Lots of smoking around us so unable to even open patio doors to enjoy the balcony and lakefront view that we had purposely booked for. The iron in the room didn't work and when I went down to tell the front desk they just said "I will make note of it " couldn't even replace it for me. Finally the cozy ambiance we were hoping for in the restaurant (considering it was our honeymoon) was ruined by the way too loud thumping wedding music and dancing directly above us . Sounded as though roof was going to cave in on us . Could hardly hear one another .

We had access to the bikes, but they were not in very good shape, we were also two families and you only offered one bike with a babyseat. It would be helpful if you had at least two

a few areas look tired and need renovating - tennis courts, dockside area, mini-golf, shuffleboard

View, spa facilities and family activities (kayak and lake)

Service at the restaurant was slow. Food was good but value for money was low. Would advise the hotel to spotlight the lake and increase the upkeep and surveillance in that area. The lake is the true gem of this place and it felt run down and undervalued by the hotel.

There are many activities available on site. Lots to do. Close enough to Québec City, but still very quiet. A fantastic nature setting.

Mattresses and pillows could be more comfy. The mini-fridge had no temperature setting, and our stuff actually froze after 1 night in there.
