Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Berlin City Kreuzberg
Why We Love This Hotel
- This modern hotel is in Berlin's "dynamic and hip" (Lonely Planet) Kreuzberg district, which is known for its quirky shops and buzzing nightlife
- It's a short stroll from the nearest metro station and a 30-minute walk from the Jewish Museum
- We've also negotiated a deal for an interactive city tour of Berlin with Street-Safari -- this smartphone scavenger hunt is now £4.50 for one device or £8.50 for two
Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Berlin City Kreuzberg is an ideal base from which to explore Kreuzberg. One of Berlin's most diverse districts, it’s known for its hip, bohemian vibe and wealth of eclectic stop-offs -- from vintage shops to cafés and cocktail bars.
Set on a bustling thoroughfare, the hotel occupies a modern building with striking red-accented windows, and is a short stroll from the nearest U-Bahn station and the lively Landwehr Canal waterfront. The trendy SOMA art gallery, the vibrant Lido music venue and the Sommerbad Kreuzberg outdoor pool are all around a 30 minutes' walk away. The Jewish Museum Berlin, with its iconic zigzag design by Daniel Libeskind, and Checkpoint Charlie crossing point take around 30 minutes to reach on foot. Museum Island (home to five noted museums), the Brandenburg Gate and Tiergarten park are all less than 35 minutes away by bus or U-Bahn. You can also rent bikes from the hotel (fees apply).
The first-floor lobby has polished wood walls, leather armchairs and city-view windows, as well as a bar.
Modern rooms have a neutral colour palette, wood furnishings and bathrooms with colourful frosted door panels and mirrors with built-in radios. Wi-Fi is free.
