This boutique-style seven-room resort is intimate in atmosphere but big on amenities. In addition to the usual suspects like free Wi-Fi, bathrobes and in-room coffee, booking a room at Sproat Lake Landing Resort also gets you reserved seating at a private fire pit. Guests will also appreciate unlimited use of water sports equipment, daily access to indoor activities in the Stirling Room and concierge service.

Rooms are designed with inspiration from the Pacific Northwest and feature locally sourced art, treats and artisan products that change seasonally. Families can spread out in Resort View rooms with two queen-size beds, while capacious Lakeview King rooms have private balconies with views of Sproat Lake, Mount Arrowsmith and the resort’s natural beaver habitat. All rooms have rainfall showers and personal refrigerators.

Dining on-site at Drinkwaters Lakeside Lounge & Stirling Room comes with expansive views. The restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows and a patio that overlooks the lake and the Joe Drinkwater IV tugboat, which is named after the famous prospector and trapper who pioneered much of the gold-rush activity in the area. Be sure to take a ride on this eye-catching red vessel for shoreline tours to see ancient Aboriginal rock-carved petroglyphs, kilometres of untouched shoreline and forests, and maybe a glimpse of the world’s largest flying boat, the Mars bomber.

We were greeted by an exceptional staff member, Jen, who ensured we had everything we needed to make our stay wonderful. The accommodations and food were first class as were the dining room staff. As part of our 2 day package we went on the Resort's tug boat ride around part of the lake. Our guide, Jen, we very well informed and it was both a fun and enlightening excursion. Wouldn't hesitate to go back to this Resort.

It was one of the most relaxing getaways we've taken. The view from our beautiful lakeside room was gorgeous and all of the resort staff were so friendly and accommodating. Meals were delicious and we also enjoyed kayaking and a scenic boat tour.

We would definitely return to this spot again!
