RK Hotel El Cabo is set in quaint Puerto de las Nieves, a traditional fishing village whose “mountainous setting is lovely with stunning views south along the Andén Verde” (Lonely Planet), and from where ferries run regularly to the island of Tenerife. A short stroll from the oceanfront, this low-key hotel occupies a modern building lined with blue-painted shutters, and is within easy reach of the village’s seafood restaurants and cafés. The charming town of Agaete, known for its historic church and botanical garden, is around a 20-minute walk away, whilst Cueva Pintada Museum and Archaeological Park, takes about 15 minutes to reach by car. Las Palmas, Gran Canaria’s lively capital, is a 30-minute drive from the hotel.
