Parklands offers traditional bed-and-breakfast accommodation on a tree-lined residential street just north of Oxford city centre. Set in an imposing Victorian property, the former home of a university professor, the informal B&B is a 15-minute walk from Oxford University Parks, and around 20 minutes' walk from both elegant Trinity College and 17th-century Wadham College. Broad Street, lined with landmark university buildings, is about a 25-minute walk away.
Behind the grand red-brick façade are interiors featuring classic wood furnishings and colourful stained-glass windows. Guests can sit down to a complimentary cooked breakfast in the casual dining room, sip drinks in the cosy lounge and relax in the tree-lined walled garden.
The 15 guestrooms feature décor in neutral tones, as well as ensuite bathrooms with showers. All the rooms include free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Upgraded rooms add sleigh beds and sitting areas.
