The city's picturesque historic centre, with attractions such as 15th-century Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths and the Theatre Royal, is about 15 minutes away by car or 30 minutes on foot via a scenic riverside walk. Royal Crescent, with its celebrated row of Georgian houses, is a 10-minute drive away.
Aquae Sulis features elegant interiors with period features and offers a leafy patio garden furnished with tables and chairs, and a relaxed bar/lounge with a marble fireplace. Complimentary cooked breakfast is served in the casual dining room and evening snacks can also be provided. Parking is free on site.
The 14 guestrooms are decorated in classic style and include free Wi-Fi, iPod docks and flat-screen TVs, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Most come with ensuite bathrooms; two have bathrooms across the hall for private use. Some rooms come with sitting areas or fireplaces, and family rooms for up to five people are also available.
