Overview

Whether you’re a golfer, a nature lover or an escapist, Streamsong Resort will meet expectations. The expansive acreage offers unparalleled views of sunsets, grasslands and marshes. Guests are often spotted on hiking trails looking for wildlife or fishing on one of the lakes.

The golf courses on site were voted as two of the Top 100 Courses in the U.S. by GOLF Magazine (2016). Stop in at Restaurant Fifty-Nine after a day on the links to fill up on mouth-watering steaks, burgers and salads. Breakfast and lunch are also served.

The spa provides ample space for rejuvenation, including six pool experiences, massage treatments and a hair and nail salon. Feeling relaxed, guests can head to the lakeside pool for a dip or to the contemporary rooftop lounge to take in fresh air, sip a cocktail and snack on pub cuisine.

Four on-site restaurants fill empty bellies, including a steak and seafood restaurant in the golf clubhouse with views of the course, an intimate Italian restaurant, a lobby lounge overlooking the lake, and a rooftop deck where handcrafted cocktails come along with sprawling views of the surrounding nature.

Kick back in a guest room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a separate sitting area and plush bathrobes. Many of the rooms and suites have views of the water and pristine surroundings.

From the press:
  • “This is without a doubt the highest profile new golf resort … in the US, if not the world” -- Forbes
  • “Beyond golf, activities at the resort play off the natural setting including bass fishing tours, bird-watching nature trails and clay shooting” -- Orlando Sentinel

Enjoyed Most: Beautiful resort, very peaceful and the staff is wonderful!
Other Comments: The large tiled showers are a little slippery. No bath mat was provided. I'd hate to see someone get hurt.

Enjoyed Most: Everything!!! Every. Single.Thing. What a gorgeous place, in the middle of nowhere. It is a peaceful and beautiful place we will DEFINITELY be returning to as soon as possible. I do not golf but I loved laying by the pool with a good book and a great lunch while my husband played the Red course. I left my cell phone in the room as I didn't want any interruptions. What an amazing place to recharge and relax.
Other Comments: One should fully understand this beautiful resort does not cater to children and there is very little to do if you do not golf. I was more than content hitting the gym, the nature trail, the spa, and the pool area while my husband golfed. We both work hard and loved the opportunity to stay here and relax.

Enjoyed Most: Very pretty design and good food.
Other Comments: There was a meeting of hotel executives that closed the rooftop bar for a long time Sat - right at sunset. I called earlier in the week to check on the restaurants and bars and was told they would all be open for our time there. We couldn't watch the sunset from the top which is one of the main things we wanted to do. It's pretty inconsiderate to not tell us ahead of time. Also there was a wedding and the guests were super loud even outside at night. They were yelling from the balcony of the conference rooms and from the outdoor area of fragmentary blue. Throughout the weekend there were cups and plates and trash all over the grounds that would stay there for hours. The hotel didn't clean the lawn where the wedding was until the next afternoon! There was broken wine glasses around the fire pit.

Enjoyed Most: Golf course.
Other Comments: The accounting system at the resort. Just not an attentive faculty and weak minded staff.

Enjoyed Most: Yes, the natural landscape.
Other Comments: Spa was closed due to renovation. TRAVEL ZOO ad did not mention this and it was the main reason we booked the resort. It was for my wife's birthday and she was very disappointed. Also pre-booked a dinner reservation and when we arrived they said the restaurant was not available due to a special wine tasting event. They recommended restaurant 59 and it was super noisy. The bar was right next to the restaurant. Our room was upgraded due to the false ad on Travel zoo but overall the experience was not good. Also we were going to do some skeet shooting but the recreation department never got back to us. Overall a bad experience! Also still waiting to hear back from Travel zoo ......no response from my request.

Enjoyed Most: This resort is AMAZING and the staff overall was very pleasant. The restaurants on site seem very cool but only two of the four were open during the use of our Travel Zoo deal. That was VERY disappointing to us both as we are food and wine lovers, and I had researched all four menus and made a reservation at their Italian venue only to be called a couple days before our visit to tell us it would not be open during our stay. Either way - we still had an excellent visit as a staycation from Tampa. We used the infinity pool which is beautiful, the spa area for sauna, steam, and hot tub which are so cool as it's like being in a cave, their fire pits outside which were so very nicely maintained, and the Clubhouse Restaurant 59.
Other Comments: Jimmy at the Clubhouse restaurant was super nice, Jeremy who drove the shuttle to get from the lodge to the Restaurant 59 was so personable, and Christina at the front desk was pleasant. We had to eat at P2O5 because Fragmentary Blue was also closed and the bartender was a bit overwhelmed who waited on us. She was rude at first but turned it around as we killed her with kindness and she finally slowed down enough to show her kinder side.
