Why We Love This Hotel

  • Part of a cluster of historic inns overlooking the Niagara River
  • Only a 15-minute walk to the Maid of the Mist and views of the Falls
  • Complimentary, cooked-to-order breakfast and bike rentals for all guests
  • Parking and Wi-Fi are free

Niagara Grandview Manor is part of a family of historic inns, which pairs perfectly with the rustic romance of the Falls themselves. All three properties are in a quieter area less frequented by tourists, but still just a 15-minute walk along the river to the Maid of the Mist and a five-minute drive to Casino Niagara. Each property carries its own history: the main house, Niagara Grandview Manor, is a 19th-century building with Victorian gingerbread trim; the centenarian Niagara Gorgeview Inn sits highest and overlooks the gorge; and the seven-bedroom Niagara Classic Inn is the family’s newest addition and features three fireplaces and hardwood floors.

Guest rooms are decorated with antique-looking furniture but have modern amenities like free W-Fi, air conditioning and cable TV. Depending on the property, some have gas fireplaces or direct access to a garden patio. A hot breakfast is included with the rooms and is made-to-order; the night before, guests can choose from entrees like traditional eggs Benedict or fresh-baked quiche Lorraine and enjoy it in the sunlit dining room each morning. Parking is complimentary, a rare find in Niagara Falls, where parking often comes at a premium.

Grandview Manor was clean, the staff were friendly, courteous and hospitable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Most of all we enjoyed the feeling of being in a warm, clean and comfortable home environment. Would love to visit again in the spring or summer.

The king sized bed was very comfortable and the quaint atmosphere of the manor and it’s rooms memorable :) The breakfast was absolutely amazing !! I loved the scones, apple blossoms, and blueberry turnovers in particular ! Some parts of the manor are under construction, but this didn’t affect our stay in January.

Schellkopf suite needs something to hang up your clothes. Get rid of the ugly chest of drawers especially the high one which looks like it can easily tip over hurting someone or possibly worse. Also please get rid of the wooden bench which looks like a church pew and is very uncomfortable. get 2 wing chairs or a sofa!

The breakfast was nice but not made to order as advertised. It is a selection of their menu items. Not what we would like.

I called and wrote a complaint to Travelzoo customer service. Please look at my email and the pictures I provided. The place is not at all what your pictures advertise on your website. You should add that a major construction zone is going on and will be woken up at 7:30am. I have never been so disappointed in a place that we went to to relax after the hustle and bustle after the holiday season. The rooms we had should not be rented during the major renovation. The view, the gas fireplaces and the sound proof room were all not available as advertised also the coupons promised they were out of the major wineries.

Sold is a room in the middle of construction. Views were obstructed/gas fireplace disconnected as a result. Drilling and hammering started at 7:;0am. You would think they could have waited until Monday as this was Christmas holidays. Very disappointing and rude!!
