A great experience with a very friendly and helpful staff throughout the property. I was upgraded to a wonderful corner room with fantastic views of the city and St. Lawrence River. Location was very practical, being connected via underground passageways to the Square Victoria metro station. Walking distance to Old Montréal and the old port area makes this a great hotel for first time tourists. The included breakfast was very good. I enjoyed my Eggs Benedict. Parking was easy, and the $25 rate for 24 hours very reasonable for the area. Can't wait to return.

Extended weekend on Old Montreal. Walking distance to everything. 10 minutes to pier, 10 minutes to Via, 10 minutes to St Catherine St. The breakfast was exceptional.

The first room they gave us was dirty and musty. We changed rooms. I am a IHG member and they told me I could check out at 2pm. They tried to kick us out at 12. Or we would have to pay $40. And the receptionist was rude. So will not go back

Generally good, location was perfect. Johanne and Jean-Francoise in Sarah B's were really good; very friendly and fun! We were there for dinner two nights and for late nite drinks once. Two small issues: 1. On the first morning, we had to pay for take out coffee from the restaurant even though we did not take advantage of the breakfast that was included in our room rate. 2. On the last afternoon, our flight was cancelled so we had to stay another night. When I asked at the front desk about room availability for that nite, I was advised that they though they were pretty full but I should to check on line. Seems like a very lazy response to a customer enquiry. The front desk should always be able to tell me what rooms they have available.

Super short staffed, (but they really did the best they could with a hotel that clearly needs some TLC.) No where to pull up for valet, had to stop in live lane,then valet not available (only one poor guy taking luggage and parking cars so you would have to sit in live lane of traffic for 15 min for him to return (not doable in MTL) first room had no a/c and bed was broken (huge crator in the one side), shower so weak you could spit on yourself better. next room bed was like sleeping on bricks. Shower was super sad with no water pressure, mould growing on grout.

Very good experience except for the bed. My husband and I both found the bed uncomfortable.. Breakfast was very good . Great selection in both hot and cold options. Great location. We walked everywhere to old Montreal. Do look for the Berlin Wall in the world trade building. Metro is accessible from this hotel. Do try the bar before supper.

A truly fantastic deal at this hotel, with a fabulous full breakfast included in their beautiful restaurant. All-around phenomenal service, including front desk and Restaurant hostess. Rooms were a little dated, but lovely and big nonetheless with bathrobe and slippers in them as well
as an umbrella included which is something you don’t see much of these days. The food in both the restaurant and the bar was excellent. The only negative I would say would be that servers at breakfast need to actually look at their clientele to see if anything is needed without having to furiously flag them down for a simple coffee refill. The second day was a little better than the first but other than that service everywhere was superb. We were also treated somehow to an upgraded corner room, which apparently was a little bigger and included a shower and bathtub.
Kind of an eclectic hotel in the main areas and very pretty. Right on the tip of Old Montreal on one side and downtown on the other. Did not use the parking garage but from what I could see there seemed to be a little bit of a walk involved in getting to the front desk.
Looked at various options downtown to stay for a wedding on the long weekend where prices were atrocious and nothing extra was offered other than the room. Travelzoo came through with what I thought was a tremendous deal. I have used Travelzoo several times over the years and would take this deal again. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

access to hotel with luggage can be challenging. In order to go from hotel parking to your room, you need to take 3 different elevators and cross convention center. 1 elevator from parking (9 level below) to top parking level which you then need to walk 3 minutes to get to second elevator to get to lobby and then across convention center to lobby to take the hotel elevator to get to your room floor. Incredibility challenging when you have lots of luggage. Also luggage cart can't go to parking area. Room service was a problem as I had to make 4 calls to get connected to someone who can take my order. Should be available online or via app.

The hptel was great and staff very friendly. We did not like the parking it was way too confusing to get to hotel from parking area. No signs to tell you where to go Elevators , walking, escalators, more elevators just to et to reception. The amount one pays just to park $75 dollars for three night is outrageous! W e will not return as the parking is way too much.

Everything was wonderful except that the concierge on our first day was a bit rude... we chalked it up to a cultural difference (possibly!) or that she was just having an "off" day. She wasn't very helpful and seemed annoyed by our questions. It was our first time in Montreal. However, the rest of the staff and service was absolutely wonderful!

This was an amazing hotel and an amazing deal. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the rooms were excellent. We were located in an ideal spot and everything was walkable. The breakfast was fantastic and because it was included in the deal things tasted even sweeter. I would definitely go back to this hotel, especially if there was another deal like this one.

I felt initially that the moment they saw we were booked thru 3rd party (travelzoo) our room was not ready at 4pm even if I was a IHG member. I had to go back to counter at 4h30pm and then the nicest clerk most professional person (jeff) helped me. Furthermore as much as the servers at the restaurant were really superstars, restaurant was understaffed (that's a mgmt issue not servers) then they managed to overcook 2 simple eggs (overeasy).

The fact that the hotel is linked to the underground city is a bit plus when travelling in winter and when arriving by train. Staff was exceptionally efficient and friendly. All meals were fabulous. We were accorded a generous late checkout before our afternoon train departure. All in all, it made for a wonderful Valentine celebration stay.

We are a family of five, with 3 kids under 6yo. We booked the King Suite and enjoyed 180 degree views from the living room, added crib, and private king bedroom. The swim lane pool was deep for the kids but we had life jackets and they loved it. Room service was delicious. Breakfast was included, generous and the staff was excellent. Perfect location. We had a great time and have already recommended it to friends.

We were celebrating our anniversary and the gentlemen checking us in at the desk was very nice giving us a complimentary drink voucher ! The room was beautiful and the views were outstanding. The breakfast was beyond our expectations and so very delicious!

Hotel is close to everything and all in walking distance. A great location friendly staff and the manager Marie and Frances were very helpful in getting my husbands wallet back that was left in the taxi. Overall a memorable trip to Montreal and we would definitely stay in this hotel again!

This hotel offers a great location. Within very close walking distance we were able to go out for dinner, go dancing and visit Montreal’s old Port the next morning.
Each staff member was always friendly and welcoming.
The room, although a little dated was clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable nights stay.
Breakfast was included and the eggs Benedict were super! We will be back !
