The pleasantries of all the staff that we encountered.Especially enjoyed the swimming pool.We had a complementary glass of prosecco after we booked in.Then we settled in to the spacious room and checked out the veranda as I'm a keen star watcher and had my telescope with me.As the hotel is in the middle of nowhere it's ideal as there's little light pollution. We then went to the bar area again about an hour after arrival to have our afternoon Tea.Tea consisted of ,tea or coffee, various sandwiches, think there was beef and horseradish, cream cheese and something, smoked salmon and egg and cress. Then plain and fruit scones with jam and clotted cream followed by various small cakes. We couldn't manage to eat half on offer but was kindly supplied with a doggie bag.A lovely nights sleep and followed by a nice breakfast. We had fresh fruit followed by a traditional full English fry up the sausages being real nice ones.Overall we are very pleased by our experience .Thanks to all the staff.

The whole experience at the hotel was very good apart from the breakfast which was disappointing. The food was not hot, The only bread on offer was Mothers Pride. I saw the remnants of a nice fresh loaf but when I asked about any more of it, I was told it was in the oven!!

The evening meal was very nice with tasty food and polite service. The room was also nice and spacious and we liked the fresh modern bathroom. We missed having robes either in our room or in the spa.

The hotel was lovely - spacious, spotlessly clean, classy without being 'ponsy'! Our room was enormous, the spa was lovely with a very good sized pool.

All the staff were lovely- very professional but friendly. The views were lovely - we got this on a 'deal' but we felt like valued guests. Definitely a good experience!
