This inn is one of four family-owned and operated Banff Avenue Resorts properties, belonging to the Irwin Family. As the name suggests, all four properties are located on Banff Avenue, the street running all the way through the small ski town. TripAdvisor reviewers rave about their friendly staff, beautiful room views and the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The inn is also just a short walk away from the main shops of Banff.
The plethora of activities of Banff National Park are within driving distance, and is worth exploring in any season. Visit Snow Peak for warm weather hiking or the Mount Norquay Ski Resort during the winter. For guests visiting during ski season, the inn has a ski room and lockers.
The inn’s central location presents guests with over 50 dining and shopping options within walking distance. For those wishing to dine on-site, El Toro Restaurant is on the main floor of the inn and offers guests breakfast and dinner with Spanish and Mexican influence. The inn does not have a pool, but there is an eight-person hot tub, a traditional dry cedar sauna and a fitness room available for guests to use.
