From its cliff-top position on the west coast of Tenerife, this modern apartment complex offers sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and the giant rock formations that gave the Los Gigantes area its name.
It's a 15-minute downhill walk (or a 5€ taxi ride) to the resort centre where you'll find a bustling marina with a promenade lined with restaurants and a small black-sand beach. The family-friendly Lido el Laguillo has water slides, loungers and a snack bar. Boat trips operate from the seafront and offer whale-watching tours and deep-sea fishing excursions.
The 120 apartments are built around two pools (one for adults, one for kids) and a spacious sun terrace. The poolside bar serves light bites and drinks, and the Regency restaurant is a fine-dining option with an al fresco terrace. Grab a post-dinner drink at the Imperial lounge bar where there's regular evening entertainment. Family-friendly amenities include a kids' club, staffed by an animation team, and a playroom. There's no spa but the property has a compact gym and a gazebo for outdoor massages.
The 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments are spread out over six floors and all feature a living room, and a modern kitchen with a hob, a microwave and a full-size fridge/freezer. Each has a balcony or a terrace furnished with sun loungers, a table and chairs. The top-floor Luxury Apartments have contemporary furnishings and include extra perks (a welcome gift, bathrobes and slippers).
