The Kaysers Tirolresort is in a gorgeous setting, surrounded by a vast natural park, ringed by snow-topped mountains. This all-inclusive resort in the Austrian Tyrol is all about getting back to nature and topping up your health credits.
There are indoor and outdoor tennis courts galore, an 18,000m² natural park, 9- and 18-hole golf courses, plus a golf academy. As well as skiing in the winter, diversions on the vast, surrounding Mieminger Plateau include Nordic walking, mountain biking, lake swimming, rock climbing and rafting.
A long menu of sophisticated ways to soothe tired muscles is on offer back at the resort, including a Finnish sauna with light therapy, an ice fountain, a herbal bio-sauna and brine-steam baths, as well as traditional massages.
Some may find the décor in the rooms and suites in need of an update but they are quiet, with balconies and wonderful views. Dining options include full- and half-board deals, with plenty of fresh food from local farmers and Tyrolean and international dishes on offer in the dining halls and restaurants.
