There’s no mistaking your location at the Casa Sedona Inn. The massive red rock formations that are the hallmark of this area rise majestically over the town, providing panoramic vistas in every direction.

The hotel’s adobe style exterior blends with the pinkish orange hue of the mountains and the décor throughout is also heavily influenced by the area’s traditions. Navajo patterned textiles, wooden beamed ceilings and barn style doors look like relics of a bygone area. Scattered throughout the common areas are Native American-themed artifacts like arrows and Kokopelli silhouettes.

The hiking trails of Thunder Mountain are a twenty minute walk away or drive ten minutes to be in the heart of uptown Sedona, where you can stock up on artisanal crafts at the Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village.

The only food on site is served at the hotel’s café, open for breakfast only but it’s worth it to eat here more than once say past guests on TripAdvisor who voted it “#1 out of 131 restaurants in Sedona.”

Each of the 16 rooms have distinctive names and themes. So the “Pottery” room is decorated with local handiwork and has a woven copper mattress, purported to have healing powers while the “Navajo” room is filled with Native American accents. All have private outdoor space, gas fireplaces and large soaking tubs to unwind after a day of exploration.
