This modern design-focused hotel is situated in Munich's south-western quarter and has good public transport and road links. It offers easy access to the Mittlerer Ring Road and is just a short stroll from Harras S-Bahn and U-Bahn interchange stations.
City centre attractions such as Marienplatz and the nearby Viktualienmarkt, where you can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat in the tree-shaded beer garden, are around 4.5 kilometres away. For a bird's-eye view of the city, head up the 306 steps of the tower to the viewing platform of St Peterskirche, which is also Munich's oldest church.
There are a number of restaurants in the area around the hotel where it's possible to dine out on everything from traditional German cuisine and typical Bavarian dishes to pizza and curry. Back at the hotel, Restaurant Sunlight is a bright and contemporary space that serves a seasonal menu of regional dishes and international favourites. With 60s-style lounge furniture and a colour scheme that offsets orange and red against black, the Jazz Bar has a retro feel about it and is a popular place to relax with a coffee or a cocktail.
The air-conditioned rooms and suites are also bright and contemporary. In keeping with the public spaces, they are decorated with a vibrant colour scheme with accents of jet black. They have crisp white bed linen and bathrooms with underfloor heating. Some of the upgraded Junior suites have kitchenettes with fridges and microwaves, making them ideal for longer stays. Leisure facilities at the hotel include a sauna and a well-equipped gym.
