The Arbor City Hotel is a modern property in London's historic East End. The hotel was fully renovated in 2015, when the bedrooms, public spaces and the façade were given a complete upgrade.
The hotel is in Whitechapel -- once the haunt of Jack the Ripper, and where you'll now find the curry houses, bagel shops and nightlife of Brick Lane. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Spitalfields Market, and three minutes from the Whitechapel Gallery -- a "ground-breaking gallery" known for its "edgy" contemporary art exhibitions (Lonely Planet). Aldgate East Tube station is a short stroll away, and you can be in the West End in 15 minutes via the District line. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from Fenchurch Street and Liverpool Street train stations.
The Lane Restaurant serves traditional British fare, such as fish and chips, and is open until 2am. There's also a cocktail bar and a private screening room.
The 115 bedrooms have been fully refurbished, and have bright, modern décor and free Wi-Fi. Superior Rooms are larger than the standard Club Rooms.
