Urban Villa in Brentford, a contemporary 4-star apartment hotel designed by New York-based architects Grzywinski+Pons, is a 15-minute bus ride (or a 30-minute walk) from the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew. Brentford station has frequent services to London Waterloo; the hotel is a 10-minute walk to the station and the train takes around 35 minutes.
Chiswick -- home to Fuller's brewery (tours are available), and known for its boutique shops and high-end restaurants -- is a 30-minute walk away. There's a weekly food market every Sunday from 10am-2pm (closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day). Chiswick House, a neo-Palladian villa set in historic gardens, is 10 minutes away by car or taxi. Its gardens reopened in 2010 after a £12.1 million restoration project and are open daily from 7am until dusk (the house itself is closed until March).
16th-century Syon House is "bursting with history", according to Time Out. Built on the site of a medieval abbey, it is set in 200-acre Syon Park, around 30 minutes' walk from the hotel. Richmond Park, formerly one of Henry VIII's hunting grounds and now home to red and fallow deer, is a 20-minute drive away.
There are 100 apartments in total and all are designed in a minimalist style. Each has kitchen facilities, a living area, a smart TV and a bathroom. Executive Villas are slightly larger than Studio Villas, with separate bedroom and living areas, and an additional single sofa bed.There is a gym and a bar, and the hotel has a bicycle-rental service. There is also a 24-hour front desk and concierge service.
