Overview

Sneak away to Solage Calistoga and experience all that northern Napa Valley has to offer. Calistoga -- best known for its mineral waters and mud baths -- is a great choice for a more casual, laid-back Wine Country vibe. Explore Lincoln Avenue (the main street in town) or sample some of the best wines at more than 50 wineries in the area.

At Solage, kick back in a studio with a semi-private outdoor patio and vaulted ceilings. An added special touch is nightly turndown service with refreshing mint water and lavender chocolates.

Seeking pure relaxation? You can't miss the 20,000-square-foot Spa Solage. Take advantage of the mud and mineral baths, fitness classes (yoga, Pilates, TRX and more) and complimentary bike cruisers to explore the property and town.

You don't have to go far to sample innovative, farm-fresh fare and sip on delicious cocktails. Zagat raves about the "vibrant," "something-for-everyone" menu at the Michelin-starred Solbar.

From the press:

  • "The aesthetic at this 22-acre property is Napa Valley barn meets San Francisco loft" -- Fodor's
  • "Hip, modern, and family-friend, Solage has a laid-back ease that appeals to a wide spectrum of guests" -- Travel + Leisure

The relaxing atmosphere and excellent staff. They all went above and beyond what we expected. Love that they provide water and tea throughout the resort. We really felt pampered by the turn down service, concierge pouring us wine as we entered, bikes for each cabin, and available bmws to take out for a spin. Can't wait to go back.

Only downside was the construction across the street that started at 430 am, on 3/27/2018. Woke me up from a sound sleep. I am a light sleeper. My husband did not wake up at all.

The heating in the studio did not function correctly. It was either very cold or very hot and no correlation to thermostat reading.

Terrific staff and lots of ways to enjoy the property and amenities — fitness classes, pool, relaxation areas, restaurant, bikes and even an easy on-site Mercedes test drive of new products

I organized a girls' getaway. The spa experience was rejuvenating for all: treatments, thermal pool, hot tub, plunge tub, steam bath, variety of exercise classes, complimentary bikes, luxurious bath house...The experience was divine! We can't wait to return!

The studio was spacious and well-appointed in every way. The large bathroom with seating area and palatial pebbled floor showers was decadent. The beds are comfortable. There is a big screen t.v. with dvd player. Comfy bathrobes and slippers are provided. The coffee maker and assortment of coffee and special teas were appreciated as well as the complimentary beverages in the fridge. The turn down service with a chocolate and bottle of water is a nice touch. The heated olympic-sized pool is fabulous! I love the location - beautiful setting and a short hop to Calistoga.
