Great location. Hotel rooms could use modernizing. Sugar container was full of small ants...didn't realize until my 2nd day when someone made a cup of coffee and ants were all over the mini fridge.

We had booked through TravelZoo and because of a medical emergency I had to change the dates by one day but the same amount of three nights. TravelZoo said that the front desk would not make the change, so after they tried twice, I phoned the front desk myself and the person changes the dates for me immediately at no extra charge.

Pierre at the front desk was very helpful to us with directing and advising us for a tour and walks etc. we were so happy he helped us arrange a tour for the same day.

Generally good . But they did not have my reservation ready at reception - it showed in the system as ‘canceled’ but I had not canceled it. They took care of it and it was alright. Did not offer anything ‘additional’ as apology for oversight- which is always a nice thing to do. Reception desk is on second floor which is odd… when you come in off the street ( leave car downstairs) there is no one to greet or direct you … except a sign that says ti go up to second floor. This doesn’t feel as welcoming or safe.

Overall good experience. Convenient location. Complimentary breakfast and parking were convenient too and appreciated.

It was great. Parking and breakfast were included daily in travelzoo package which was nice bonus. Rm was on the 5th floor. Only thing not perfect was that exterior windows were not clean so view wasn’t as nice as it could have been. Loved that the windows opened. Just opened them a bit one day when cooler weather otherwise AC on rest of time. I booked 4 separate one night stays because of the 48 hr cancellation policy as I might have needed to leave a day or two early. I tried to revise my travelzoo booking from 5 nights to 4 but it was either cancel or not. No option to modify stay.

We were very happy with the hotel amenities. The pool is great for kids. The Keurig coffee is ok but not great. We faced the street bur in wasn't noisy 3xcept for the occasional emergency vehicle. They lock the front door at 11 pm and room key is required to enter or the buzzer. There are quite a few homeless people in the area but we avoided them as much as possible. The location is tge best for exploring. Metro right across street. IGA grocery store close by. We went end of August and that's when the wasps are out! Bring insect repellent especially for Old Montreal! The pastry shops in Chinatown are fantastic! You can go on a diet when you return home! Love Montreal!
