Overview
Located between Uptown and the financial district, the AAA 4-Diamond Le Meridien Stoneleigh puts guests within a 5-minute drive of the American Airlines Center, Dallas Museum of Art and scenic Reverchon Park. It's also a short stroll to the McKinney Avenue Trolley for complimentary rides downtown—where you'll find high-end shopping.
The hotel itself is housed in an Art-Deco building that dates back to 1923 and feels like a posh paradox between 1920s elegance and 21st-century style: You can still find original design elements, like the oak-paneled hotel library, alongside modern features—for instance, the lively outdoor pool deck, complete with cabanas available for rental, or the streetside outdoor lounge.
Rooms here are spacious—standard rooms start at 35 square metres—and come with large picture windows, 140-cm flat-screen TVs, walk-in closets and funky accents like Calcutta tile bathrooms. For more space and perks like deep-soaking tubs, we recommend upgrading to a suite.

I booked based on the following wording. I have never been so disappointed in Travel Zoo!!! Neither of the following sentences was true. "Prime location—walkable to the dining, shops and entertainment of Uptown Dallas. Walkable to the American Airlines Center; plus tons of shopping and restaurants at Crescent Court." We had strollers and wagons but were not able to walk anywhere due to the construction and nothing being open. We were on the end of a busy weekend and wanted to relax and stroll around before heading home. The bar coupons were for $15, and nothing was less than $18.

There is currently quite a bit of construction going on around the hotel, some of it happening overnight, so it was hard to sleep. The hotel restaurant, Perle on Maple, was mediocre for breakfast (the only time we dined there) and we chose not to use our complimentary breakfast coupon on the second day. That's why I gave it only three stars for Ambience/Atmosphere. Other than that the bed was very comfortable and the room was beautiful.

Staff was very responsive and hotel was very nice. Especially enjoyed the breakfast! Hotel was great. Only negative thing I have to say is regarding the noise. I was on the 5th floor and the music at the pool was very loud and was challenging to take a work call. Also - both nights (1 am and 3 am) I was there - I was woke up due to folks screaming (drunken fun) down the hall. Maybe during the week is better.

The king junior suite was a really nice size, the staff were over the top friendly, the food at breakfast was absolutely delicious - the only downfall was the water was not hot in the tub... it was barely lukewarm.

My wife and I traveled to Dallas for a concert/date night. We were blown away by the unique hotel we booked for the night. The Le Meridien Dallas, The Stoneleigh was throwback to yesteryear. It is completely remolded but holds the charm from the first half of the 1900s. We loved every part of our experience, the room, amenities, service were all 5-star quality.
