Located in Desert Hot Springs, Aqua Soleil Hotel & Mineral Water Spa is surrounded by natural beauty. Take in views of the San Jacinto Mountains to the south and the San Bernardino Mountains to the northwest.

Recently remodeled guest rooms are modern and clean with brightly painted walls and crisp white bedding. Soleil suites (for adults only) offer much more space with separate living areas and private hot mineral water jetted pools, great for romantic getaways.

Relax in one of property's three hot mineral water pools. The water is taken from the surrounding area's hot springs and is said to have curative powers. For more pampering, get a massage or facial at the hotel's spa (inquire at the front desk about available treatments). Get in a workout at the nearby World Gym, which is free for guests.

A large outdoor courtyard has seating around a fire pit, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine or cup of coffee. For restaurant options, Desert Hot Springs is just a five-minute drive with plenty of choices.

Drive just 45 minutes to Joshua Tree National Park to hike amid the desert landscape and take in a multitude of bright stars in the dark night sky. Or head into downtown Palm Springs, just a 15-minute drive, for restaurants, bars, shops, galleries and more.

absolutely nothing, why Travelzoo would even recommend such a place is a huge disappointment.

Basically, this property is just a run-down motel, not a "resort". Rooms are smelly with cramped hanger space (only 3 very flimsy coat hangers) and zero hooks to hang things. One night they set up an outdoor TV screen with the volume turned way up which was annoying to say the least. To top it off the filtration system on the pool was broken and the water very, very cloudy - many people just stayed away from it. If you want a motel-type experience try Motel 6 which would be so much more pleasant.

The pool area is nice.

Although the room I got was remodeled nicely, the beds were sloppily made and the details were haphazard. I woke with one eye swollen shut from some allergen in the room. I've never had that happen before. The building is kind of shabby, poorly kept up.

Mineral pools were great

Extremely overrpriced this weekend. I took my granddaughter for a special weekend. The big paul McCartney, bob Dylan etc. so they charged 320.00 a night. I have never been in a hotel recently that had no cable and only a few channels. Sonothi g to watch at the end of a long day. Also no restaurant. Finding a decent place was difficult.
