We arrived early and were able to get an early check in. The front desk staff was very helpful. The craft beer happy hour was nice after a day of walking around Seattle

Loved my stay at Hotel Max. It's a boutique hotel that's not a luxury hotel, but it has a lot of nice, thoughtful touches. It's like staying with your bohemian artist friend that doesn't have money but has excellent taste. Loved the vibe of the lobby and appreciated the free coffee service in the morning and the free craft beers from 5 - 6. The sound systems in the Sub Pop rooms were incredible and the art was really cool. Bed super comfy, beautiful toiletries, tasteful art. If you're a culture/music fan, great place for you.

Fabulous location, very clean, stylish, and well maintained rooms and gathering spaces. Loved the morning coffee and evening beer in the lobby, and the records/record player in the room. The front desk staff and valet were super friendly and helpful. The bed was amazing: great mattress, sheets, and pillows. The bathroom was tiny to the point of inconvenient.

We walked everywhere from the hotel - Seattle Center, Pike Place Market, restaurants, the movie theater a block away. Fun neighborhood!

It was a good experience. Just not that the rooms are missing basic amenities like a kettle and microwave.

Clean room, comfortable king bed. Fun to have the record player in room. Beer and coffee in the lobby were appreciated. Laid back, music that we like, not fussy, overly upscale. Good location for walking.

Great location in downtown Seattle. Not the typical corporate hotel. The staff was great always welcoming us back and greeting us in the morning. The been happy hour was fun and let us try local brews. Only complaint was the window air conditioner/heater was very loud. The weather was great so we only used the window unit once. Otherwise did enjoy being able to open window and enjoy fresh air.
Other Comments
The staff was very friendly. Only complaint was noisy air conditioner/heater (room 917) but the weather was perfect so we only used the unit once.

Hotel was in a great location. Near the monorail to ride over to the space needle, or walking to food or shopping or even pikes place market. Lobby was hip modern rock n roll decor. Rooms are tiny, and so are elevators, but I would stay here again. Beer hour was a nice bonus. Very happy with our stay here.
