Barceló Aruba - All Inclusive
About the Hotel
Why We Love This Hotel
- This modern, bustling resort in Aruba's tourist center draws couples, families and groups looking for a mid-range beach escape
- The resort's busy beach is loaded with activities like volleyball and windsurfing, and dotted with tiki hut umbrellas
- On-site dining is nothing to write home about, but this hotel is within a 10-minute walk to lots of great restaurants and nightlife
- A kids Fun Club has toys and crafts, and an on-site casino, while small, is good for people-watching
The Occidental Grand Aruba - All Inclusive Resort attracts families, couples and groups of friends looking for a solid mid-range beachfront option, close to the restaurants, nightlife and shops of Aruba's city center.
The beach is one of the main draws here -- large and gorgeous and loaded with activities and shady tiki hut umbrellas. It's perfected the busy beach vibe, with enough action to keep stimulated but not so much that it distracts from relaxing.
The food is fine but nothing to write home about. For more options, the nightlife and restaurants of Aruba's center are just five minutes away on foot. The on-site casino is small but good for people watching, and kids can hang out in a Kids Club while parents hit the spa.
There aren't a lot of frills to be found here, but it's a solid, budget-friendly choice with a lovely lagoon-shaped pool and speedy, efficient service.
