Map & Directions

Take the train from Rome's Fiumicino Airport to Termini Station and catch the 910 bus to Euclide Metro station. The journey will take around 45 minutes and cost €16 in total. Alternatively, a taxi will cost €55 and take 30 minutes. Ciampino Airport is 30-40 minutes away by taxi. There is no parking available on-site.

Grand Hotel Ritz is in the Parioli district in the northern part of Rome, which Frommer's calls the city's "most elegant residential section." Bordered by the green spaces of the Villa Borghese to the south and the Villa Glori and Villa Ada to the north, the Parioli district is "an area for connoisseurs... a setting for some of the city's finest restaurants, hotels, and public parks" (Frommer's).

The hotel runs a shuttle service to and from Piazza di Spagna, at the bottom of the Spanish Steps, and is within walking distance of Euclide Metro station, which is convenient for exploring the city.

There is a rooftop bar and restaurant with a terrace for al fresco dining at the hotel, as well as a spa with a gym, a Turkish bath, a sauna, a swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The spa offers massages, facials and body treatments at a surcharge.

Rooms are spacious, with soundproof windows and bathrooms decorated in either marble or Vietri ceramics. Upper floors have views of the square below and Wi-Fi is free throughout.

Other Comments
The water in the shower would not stay a constant temperature. It varied from cold to scalding hot while you were showering.
