"We originally were going to purchase a spapass to use the pool at the Fairmont, but when we saw the deal in Travelzoo, we decided to just make a night of it. The room was nice, even though we did have problems getting the temperature right in the room. Our overall complaint was more with the services available. We had a table by the pool and wanted to have their Froze. We were told the machine was broken. We then ordered a bottle of wine from the menu, and were told that was out of stock. Asked for another, more expensive bottle which they did have. We had two of them, and when we ordered the third bottle we were told that because it was busy, they were out of that bottle now too. At that point we decided to head in, and go out to eat somewhere. On other note, while there is service at the tables, they are not always checking on you, so you have to sometimes wave the person over. We actually did not know they even served food at the bar, and were never asked if we wanted anything, we only found out there was food available as we were walking out and saw a menu sitting on another table."
