Overview

The modern and stylish Hutton Hotel is one of Nashville's premier places to stay, and one of the few that brings 4.5-star quality outside the downtown area. Its West End location is close enough to get to the bars and restaurants of Broadway quickly, but far enough away to avoid the noise that accompanies them.

Recently renovated rooms feature flat-panel TVs with multimedia interfaces, pillow-top bedding, granite bathrooms with Kohler rainfall showers, chic decor and maid service that freshens up rooms twice a day. Guests also receive free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Suites are situated on higher floors with more room to stretch out.

Guests can also create their own Nashville soundtrack in the new Writer's Rooms designed by country superstar Dierks Bentley and Ryan Tedder (songwriter for artists like Adele and Taylor Swift). These spaces were built to accommodate writing sessions for local musicians and artists and have custom Martin and Gibson guitars on hand along with recording systems and vocal booths.

The hotel's lobby was recently refined to serve as an centre for creativity, with a communal space for guests to socialize around the music library or curated art gallery. The hotel's WestEnd Kitchen & Bar serves familiar Southern-inspired flavours using local and organic produce sourced from regional farms, while the new Analog bar is part social club, part music venue, with a living-room feel and a creative cocktail menu that includes drinks made with custom-blended Belle Meade Bourbon.

My reservation through Travel zoo was for a "Midtown One-Bedroom Suite." Based on the photos from the hotels website, I was given a deluxe king room. Not a suite, just a regular room. (No, I did not complain about it) I also originally booked this hotel because it touted having a full service restaurant. It does, but the menu is very limited. This hotel is nice, clean and fairly convenient to local attractions. I indicated above that I would stay here again, but only if the price was right.

Enjoyable stay. Would like a musician in the bar area for just a couple of hours (2) during happy hour or early evening, nothing load or crazy, soft music.

Was able to take advantage of the tesla to get around the Broadway area. Happy Hour free drink each afternoon. Had breakfast credit each morning. Only thing to criticize is the very limited menu and overpriced restaurant.

we arrived shortly after 3 pm, the schedule check-in time, but had to wait in a crowded, noisy Lobby for over an hour for our room to be ready. this truly set the tone for our stay even though staff were pleasant and polite

They were 30 minutes late getting our room ready... 4:00 was check-in time and we didn’t get checked in until 4:30. When we got to the room, there was only 2 cups and 2 sets of towels, even though we specifically booked the room for 4 people. They also did not provide bedding for the pull out sofa bed. We called at 5:00 about getting extra bedding and they said they would be right up. At 5:30, we left because we had dinner reservations and stopped by the front desk to inform them that we still hadn’t received our bedding and they said they would take it to the room and make the bed. When we got back to the room at 12:30, there was still not any bedding...but they did bring more cups and towels. After we called twice to the front desk and eventually went down there, at 1:05 am we finally got our extra bedding. The staff and management said they were booked and offered no apologies...just that there wasn’t anything they could do. Also, when we called down the second time after midnight, the front desk said that they would be right on up with our bedding but they got a few more requests in right after ours so it was delaying them. They also put tons of items in the room “for purchase.” I would hate to come to this room with a child because I would probably have an extra $100 added to my bill. Bottles of water for $7 left out on a desk, a stuffed animal on the desk, chocolates on the nightstand, and various beverages and snacks on the dresser...all of these items laying around that add more money to your bill. They also didn’t have any way for us to get downtown. Told us they had one car to service the whole hotel and that waiting on it would be a “crapshoot” and we should just get an uber. And lastly, the safe did not work.
