The parking lot attendant was very friendly and offered to even help with the luggage. The location was good and close to so many great restaurants.

The room was so tiny and narrow that you have to sleep right next to the draftey and noisy air conditioning unit. The ice machine was broken and you had to go to the basement to get ice. Bad water pressure and takes a long time to get hot water. The view from the window was a brick wall of another building. When I mentioned that Travelzoo members get free parking and late checkout they looked so confused and weren’t sure how to do that. It still said my checkout was 11 that she had written down but said that we could stay later? We left before 11 to just get out of there. The parking garage is in another building and has no acces to the hotel. You have to carry your bags back all the way to the hotel. The wifi was also weak. Spend a bit more and go somewhere else.

The hotel wS good...generally quiet but we were there during the biker protest weekend and heard police sirens during the night and were by the ice machine so there was traffic there as well. The parking situation was a little strange being in a different building and the alley was not in very good condition so walking there was a bit of a gamble.

Room was clean, bed very comfortable, some updating needed in bathroom- but very much appreciated the magnifying mirror!

The woman Server in the restaurant every morning was lovely! Friendly and warm but also respectful of our time. A Sweetheart! Food was absolutely delicious and presented very nicely. Kudos to the Chef as well!

The rooms are small but very clean and modern. Elevators are extremely slow. Hotel staff were not rude in any way but were certainly not overly friendly. I feel this has become the norm with hotel and restaurant staff post pandemic. Location is fantastic.

The Travelzoo offer included free parking. This was a great benefit, with easy in & out movement. The closed restaurant/lounge was a disappointment. Staff were very friendly & helpful. The location was perfect for downtown Ottawa.
