Hilton Atlanta Marietta Hotel & Conference Center
About the Hotel
Why We Love This Hotel
- Popular for conferences and special events, many hosted in the historic Brumby Hall antebellum mansion
- Backs onto a sprawling 18-hole championship golf course
- Less than five minutes down the road from Marietta's historic main square, trimmed with charming shops and restaurants
On a sweeping bluff overlooking a park, the Hilton Marietta's capacious size and impressive views make it a natural magnet for regional conferences and special events. Many a bride has blushed in the shadow of Brumby Hall, a Greek Revival manor dating from 1851 with a colonnaded portico that appears in the background of wedding portraits. The main hotel building echoes this architecture, its stately bleached facade standing guard over 132 acres of manicured gardens and an 18-hole championship golf course. Rooms are neutral and proper and agreeable for the hotel's often corporate lodgers.
Those not attending a conference or a wedding or a golf match may need to head into town to find their kind of activities. Marietta Square is less than five minutes down the road, a historic park set to the tune of a burbling fountain and trimmed with a gazebo and towering trees. It's surrounded by a cute clutch of restaurants and gift shops, as well as historic theaters and concert venues. Kennesaw Mountain rises as a backdrop to the city, and guests are a 10-minute drive from the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, which in 2014 commemorated its 150-year anniversary as a site of one of the Civil War's major battles.
