Just 10 minutes away from downtown San Diego on quiet Mission Bay, the Paradise Point Resort and Spa provides an experience akin to a relaxing beach getaway. The hotel is set on a 44-acre island with a mile-long sandy beach, bonfire pits, five swimming pools, a marina and a full-service spa. Guestrooms feature California coastal decor with beach themed accessories and a nautical color palette. Every room comes with a small patio or lanai.
There’s an 18-hole putting green, five tennis courts, an indoor fitness center, plus lawn games, ping pong and a full basketball court, all included in the resort fee. Stay active with surf school, kayaking or jet skiing at the hotel’s beach marina. Take a bicycle or quadracycle out for a spin on the extensive trails covering the island’s perimeter.
The popular marine theme park SeaWorld San Diego is a four-minute drive across the street, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo is a 13-minute drive southeast of the hotel.
