The Hyatt Regency Long Beach is approximately a 35-minute drive from Los Angeles International Airport. A taxi is approximately $80 plus tip. A SuperShuttle starts at $17 plus tip.
Rooms & Rates
The Hyatt Regency Long Beach has good looks inside and out. Every one of the guest rooms and suites at this hotel boasts a water view. The enormous two-story lobby has a photographic mural of a forest covering one wall and accent chairs throughout in bright kelly green and cherry red. Guest rooms are minimalist and beach-chic with light furniture and sand-colored furnishings. Azure pops of color on the bedding and artwork match the California sky. Framed close-ups of local objects are grouped together on the walls.
Relax on the sundeck at the outdoor pool or grab a bite at the hotel restaurant Tides, which serves healthy casual cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
It’s an eight-minute walk to the Aquarium of the Pacific, which hosts sea life including sea lions, seals and penguins. The Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center is a two-minute walk from the hotel lobby.
