"The hotel is in the historic district, so the area is quiet. In a very short walk you’re at the Capital Building and other major sites. We went when the World Series was playing in Washington. Standing right outside the hotel you could hear the roar of the crowd. A quick 5 minute walk we were at the ballpark!! Great hotel!!"

Staff were very nice and helpful. Our only complaints would be the bathroom was so small, no counter space at all, no vent and poor lighting. The cost of parking was $50 per day. That just seems very expensive. Other than those things, everything else was great!

Spacious room that was quiet. Loved the coffee maker. The bathroom was very small but it had a good shower. The only negative- a big one for me- is that the a/c kicked on and off all night, making enough noise to prevent me from falling asleep. For that reason only, I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. Otherwise, it's in a great location and has nice amenities.

You have a great hotel and I really appreciated the cucumber water, coffee and breakfast. Checking-in was a problem though. The two people running the front desk were focused on the same customer. They didn't acknowledge I was waiting and just kept helping that person. I had to wait 5-10 minutes to finally get checked in.

The only part of the stay that we were not thrilled with was the extra charges, almost $100 for a 1-night stay. This was for parking, taxes, and an "amenities fee" that was dubious.
Other Comments
The location is great if you want to be able to walk to the mall, the museums, and the metro.
