We enjoyed staying at Banff Ptarmigan Inn. Comfortable bed. Missed not having a microwave. View of the parking lot wasn't very nice to look at.

It is always a great time to visit Banff, beforethe onset of tourists! It is always a bit quieter in April and May.

Being next to the ice machine can be a bit noisy at night.

Arrived and easy check in. Great location downtown Banff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hot tubs steam bath and sauna was enjoyable too. Food delicious and staff friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Great deal through Travelzoo mid week stay. Enjoyed the hot tub and location, easy walk to everywhere and nice touch with the free bus tickets and meal special. Unfortunately we did not utilize the 2 for 1 movie ticket

The hotel was clean and staff were helpful. The layout to where the rooms were located was confusing. The entrances to the different wings of the hotel were not clearly marked. The cost of the package was high and thus, if I was to book again, the coat must be lower with meal and movie vouchers included.

The complementary bus passes were nice and it’s very convenient to have a bus stop right in front of the hotel. When we upgraded to a room with a balcony we expected to have a view of the mountains, not the hotel next door. I have stayed there several times and always had the same terrible view.
Other Comments
While it’s nice to have parking included, the parade is very tight and it’s extremely difficult to park a car. Several other guests also reported having issues parking their vehicles and we witnessed someone hit a wall trying to manoeuvre into a stall.
