The first room we were assigned by the front desk had a strong odor of smoke. We went back to the front desk and they quickly gave us a different room. The second room was pretty beat up and had some big scratches on the dressers. The furniture was worn down. The king bed wasn’t a king in my opinion as I am 5’9” and my feet were hanging off the end. The bed also was cavernous and I felt as though I was sleeping in a shallow bowl.

The location was good and the staff was friendly.

Outdated, worn out furniture with rips in fabric chair, crooked , glass less pictures on the wall, toilet paper fixture about to fall off the wall. Requested room to be cleaned after maids had passed up our room due to a Do Not Disturb sign. We were told no problem, room would be cleaned before we got back from our day of activities. Room did not get cleaned. Rooftop closed at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve so we never got to experience it! Pictures of hotel were deceiving as everything Iin the place was old and tired. It is in desperate need of a makeover!

Super large clean room and bathroom. Much bigger than normal for Chicago. Staff was wonderful. Bar was great. Entire stay was great. Would definately go back.
