Pool was nice design but always looked cloudy, so we didn't swim. No specific direction or instruction from staff of where to catch the trolley. I forgot my own pillow when I checked out so I called a few hours after checking out and no one had a clue about where it could possibly be including the woman who cleaned the room!

Front desk staff was polite, but not overly friendly. The elevator at the back of the hotel worked for the most part, but was a little scary, so we took the stairs most of the time.

The staff were caring and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. The lodge was within walking distance of the main stretch through Gatlinburg and was also close to the national park.

First night there and the original room we were given was disappointing and very loud. we asked and they did move us to a nice room. The breakfast was not included but the $6 buffet for two was $22 (too much). One last negative was the loudness of BOTH air-conditioners they were annoying at best.
