The free boat trip was much appreciated and enjoyed

We read many reviews of the resort but none of them applied to this ownership - over promised and underdelivered - on meals, room facilities (cooking, separate, eating area, etc). There were no choices for breakfast - the 'elevated continental breakfast' was a disappointement and repetitive - nothing hot (mislead by the reviews we had read beforehand, which mentioned a buffet style).

We were looking for a quiet excape and it was perfect. The weather did not cooperate 100%, but still great. We were served a delicious breakfast overlooking the lake. Went for a hike between showers and then paddled around the lake in one of their canoes.

Very quiet and restful. Beds sooo comfy and great sleeps. Disappointed in water access for swimming and not inviting to swim in the lake. Dinners were good but surprised that no fish was on the menu.

absolutely phenominal. staff and owners were amazing to deal with and super helpful and friendly. we loved being able to "unplug" with no wifi or television (but yes, cell service was great, so if you need to, you can always get access). the restaurant was a SURPRISE! the expanded continental breakfast was perfect and the dinner menu was amazing. please do not be scared off by the 3/5 for rooms --- the resort is undergoing upgrades/renovations and while it is dated, it is exceptionally clean and the most comfortable bed i've slept on in AGES! after the day on the water, and an afternoon napping in the sun, we've decided we could get used to "lake life".

The host was extremely pleasant. The room and beds were more than comfortable. There is work to be done as the resort takes shape however and things like a liquor licence, a dock and potable water would make a huge difference
